The Sobeco Group Inc., a 27-year-old Montreal-based company with offices
in Toronto, Fredricton, and (soon-to-be) Western Canada is seeking 2
intermediate-level C programmers for head office.

An excellent working knowledge of the SYSV unix programming environment
is required.

While a degree is not strictly required, it would be an advantage.
Two years of C programming at the applications or system level is
a DEFINITE requirement.

Bilingual french/english is a real win.

Experience in any of the following is an asset:
	uucp, tcp/ip, ethernet, systems, database applications,
	system admin, network admin, NFS, YP, NCR tower 32 (a bit),
	MIPS (a lot), BSD sockets etc., cisco terminal servers, and
	general hackery.

MS-DOS programmers need not apply.
AMIGA programmers need not apply.
ATARI programmers need not apply.
We want unix people.

Base salary is $28K, modified up/down based on qualifications.  We offer
a truly incredible benefit package (health, life, pension, health-club,
yearly bonus for good work, etc. etc. etc.).

The working environment is designed for unix people.  Flex hours (it is
currently 11:00 PM), we supply your home terminal,printer,phoneline,modem,
etc..

This is not a small company.  We are dedicated to unix.  MIPS machines are
now our standard.
