                          MATHEMATICAL MODELLERS

JOIN OUR DYNAMIC MODELLING AND MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION TEAM ON
THE LEADING EDGE OF TECHNOLOGY AT THE KINGSTON RESEARCH AND
      DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

Alcan International Limited requires three to five experienced
mathematical modellers, to extend our leadership in the area of

      Ontario.

The candidates will have advanced degrees and several years of
demonstrated experience in the area of numerical analysis.
Experience in thermal analysis, stress analysis, large strain
plasticity or computational fluid dynamics is required.
Experience with experimental validation would be desirable. The
candidates should be familiar with finite element or finite
difference techniques and have an understanding of their use in
large scale computing environments. Each successful candidate
will be expected to take a hands on role in one or more projects
within our Laboratory, and interact with the other modellers
within the Centre. The initial working areas will be in
connection with our next generation of aluminum structured
vehicles, sheet metal forming processes, heat transfer and fluid
flow in multi-phase systems, and other major manufacturing
      process in the aluminum industry.

Inventiveness and an ability to work cooperatively with
