USERS OF THE NS16000 CHIP SET, PRESENT AND FUTURE, TAKE NOTE! The second meeting of the NS16000 user group will be held at the Barbizon Plaza in New York City, April 18, 1983 (one day prior to the start of the Mini-Micro show). Any and all interested parties are welcome. --- --- The group is still rather informal; there are no membership fees, nor is there a structured national organization. The group was formed last fall by the initiative of a collection of hardware and software companies that plan to build products that use the NS16000 chip set. Look for some major announcements of availability of NS16000 software support from Translation Systems; a variety of other products will be discussed by their respective manufacturers, too. This meeting will be a good opportunity to come up to date on the latest software and hardware in what is still a rather new product area. The first meeting was held in San Jose on December 8, 1982; reports on that meeting appeared in various trade papers the following weeks. As with the previous meeting, the event is being coordinated by: Tom Linden 530 Atlantic Ave. Boston, Mass. 02210 617-357-9433
