Does anyone know how much the 16k series stuff costs? I've called the local Hamilton Avnet office here, and they acted like they never heard of the 16k. I'd also like to know if I could get a 32032, and if so, what speed. I keep getting little pamphlets from national with 'preliminary' stamped on them. What is available to the non-OEM, non-industry type people? How do I get it? Mike Mitchell mcnc!ncsu!mcm

<This is not here> I got the following prices from a dealer in Albuquerque NM about three months ago. These prices were for single quantity. NS08032 (4) (6) (10) Not released NS16032 (4mhz) $125 (6mhz) $102 NS16201 $28 Clock and Controller, works with all speeds NS16081 $200 FPU, appears to be only one speed? (heard unreliable >8mhz) Those are the prices I was given. I didn't think to ask about 32032 at the time and I can't find my paper with the MMU price on, but the above should give you the general idea. You will need at least the CCU to make a system so thats $130 for a 6mhz system. Don't ask why the 6mhz cpu cost is less than the 4mhz one, I don't know. They wouldn't give me quotes on the high performance 10mhz processors. I anyone is interested I would like to talk to other people who are interested in putting together thier own systems with these chips. Tim Tucker ...ucbvax!unmvax!nmtvax!tim P.S. I read in byte a while back that 32032's were $220 in quantity!
