I am interested in experimenting with the 32032 starting with the chip set or an evaluation board. I would appreciate any help with the following questions. Can anyone tell me if a 32032 chip set is actually available (to a mere mortal? quan. 1?)? What speeds (and price) are available? Are fpu & mmu chips also available? My only reference on the series is a (preliminary) programmers reference for the 16032 bought several years ago. Is this significantly out of date with respect to instructions, etc? One of the reasons I'm asking here is that when the 16032 was announced I was quite infatuated with it and went out and got the manual; however the only info I could get out of my local distributor was that the evaluation board and the 4mhz cpu &mmu chips were available. I kept going back and being told that they had no info. on higher speed versions and no info at all on fpu availability - " it's not on our list so they probably aren't shipping". This went on for a couple of years until one day when I happened to be dismantling an HP 68000 system and saw a 10mhz national fpu chip inside - my dealer was still saying they weren't available at any speed......
