According to a note I got from Definicon 12/4/85, the virtual memory loader should be available "the first part of January (possibly a little sooner)." This works like the current pc-dos load.exe, but allows up to 16Mb of virtual address space. Neat! Now I'll have to find a way to use > 1Mb to see what its like (:-). Seems pretty worthless under a single-tasking environment like pc-dos, tho, unless you need *LOTS* of data storage. I wonder what swapping is like on a 2 drive floppy system.... Some possible uses for this might be: a "virtual" ram disk that overflows to disk, another place to hide utilities like Sidekick, ?????? Has anyone thought of bringing up XINU or some other such multi-tasking environment to run entirely on the 32032? Unix is nice, but it takes a lot of resources (>10Mb disk space) and is expensive; esp. if you've just blown all your cash on the 32032 board :-). Mike Blackwell
