TRW makes a whole line of flash converters. The one I looked at about two years ago had 30 msps on eight bits, however, it was extremely noisy. As a matter of fact, it had a good two lsb's worth of noise. Something you could try is to cool them down to a low temperature. When I evaluated them, I did not have a heat sink, and they dissipate ALOT of heat. I'm fairly certain that you would need to do more than just convection cooling, but you would have to play around with it first to see exactly how much. John Williams
