I get 0.833333... ohms.

Method:

Assume a 3 amp current source entering the corner.  Divide it using
KCL at each node.  Use the resulting currents to find voltage drops
across each resistor.  Sum these voltage drops from corner to corner.
Use Ohm's law (R=E/I) to compute the resistance between corners.

(Naturally, the corners in question are those at the end of the long
diagonal mentioned in the original specification of the problem.
