Can someone out there point me to sources of information regarding the sources and magnitudes of "non-ideal" components of typical passive electronics parts (capacitors primarily) Examples of what I am looking for include the average values of effect series inductance, series resistance, capacitance/voltage figures, dielectric absorbtion and leakage for electrolytic capacitors with values from 1 to 1000 uFd (aluminum or tanatalum) Also, in SPICE2, how does one REALLY model an electrolytic cap (given that its rated capacity only exists for a properly polarized applied voltage does it act like a really awful diode with lots of capacitance or leakage, etc. etc.)? Send your opinions if you like, but I am also looking for actual quotable references (textbooks, articles, manufacturers data sheets, and so forth). Please EMAIL your suggestions to me at decvax!genrad!teddy!rdp. Thanks Dick Pierce
