Unless I'm mistaken, you can't copyright a computer language, nor otherwise control the writing of programs to compile or interpret the language. (However, you can control the use of its name by trade- mark). Is this true, and if so, how long before we see a UNIX(tm) implementation of Smalltalk (tm?) ? Anyone out there looking for a good thesis project? Tim Maroney
