[net.lang.st80] Object-Oriented C

< "...if I only knew now what I will know then." >

I am currently working on a project to provide
an object-oriented environment for C/UNIX programmers.
The idea is that code (methods) will be written in C,
adhering to some set of conventions and standards.
The version of C is "vanilla C"; i.e. that described
in Kernighan and Ritchie in "The C Programming Language."

These constraints are imposed externally; that is, going
out and buying a Dorado and Smalltalk license is not an option!

I've come up with a working system that has successfully
passed The Ultimate Smalltalk Test (i.e. 3+4). :-)
I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has
worked on such a project or has ideas along these lines.
