Hi, I'm trying to find references to any distributed or parallel versions of Smalltalk, or indeed, any parallel object oriented language system. Does anybody know of any such systems? thanks Mark Davoren CS dept Edinburgh Uni, Scotland mark@cstvax.ed.ac.uk mark@cstvax.uucp

Parallel Smalltalk? i know Dr. Mario Tokoro of Keio Univ. in Japan developed ConcurrentSmalltalk and Orient84/K. i heard Orient84/K is object-oriented, ruled-based, access-oriented, and parallel. why don't you ask Dr. Tokoro? sorry i'm not sure about his email address. but i guess he is {seismo, mcvax, hplabs, ihnp4}!kddlab!tokoro@keio.JUNET or kddlab!titcca!kossvax!koeavax!tokoro takao "the Tong-King boy" shimono /dec-j/sws/tk2/aig/studio.h uucp: {decvax, ucbvax, allegra}!decwrl!tkov58.dec.com!shimono arpa: shimono%tkov58.DEC@decwrl.DEC.COM junet (Japan Un*x NETwork): shimono@dec-j.junet

Hi! I'm one of student of Keio University in Japan. My friend whose name is Yasuhiko YOKOTE is developping a distributed Smalltalk called "ConcurrentSmalltalk." You can find a paper about it in Proc. of "ACM Conference on Object Oriented Programming Systems, Languages, and Applications (OOPSLA-86)" that is held on Sep 29 ~ Oct. 2, 1986, Portland, Oregon. The title of paper is "The Design and Implementation of ConcurrentSmalltalk." Hideki Sunahara
