Highlights of an article that appeared in Computing Canada (Vol. 14, No. 6, March 17, 1988): MACII BECOMES AI WORKSTATION (by Tim Gouldson) Scheduled for delivery in April is the Microexplorer, which at US$15K includes: - A MacIntosh II with 2 MB of memory - a 40 MB hard disk - Microexplorer processor board with 4 MB of memory - Explorer runtime software The model will have half the power of the Explorer II, TI's high-end Lisp machine and will preserve the full functionality of the MacII.
