This is off the top of my head and probably contains lots of errors. The closing ballad is particularly bad, and probably incomplete. Opening Ballad Now sit right back and you'll hear a tale A tale of a fateful trip That started from this tropic port Abord this tiny ship The mate was a mighty sailing man The skipper brave and sure Five passengers set sail that day For a three hour tour A three hour tour (thunder) The weather started getting rough The tiny ship was tossed If not for the courage of the fearless crew; The Minnow would be lost The ships aground on the shore of this Uncharted desert isle with Gilligan, the skipper too, the millionaire, and his wife, the movie star (and the rest) | (the professor and Mary Anne) /* these lyrics changed */ are here on Gilligans isle! -------------------------------- Closing Ballad (beware of errors here) This is the tale of our castaways They here for a long long time They'll have to make the best of things Its an uphill climb No boat, no light, no motorcar Not a single luxury; Like Robinson Crusoe Its primitive as can be The skipper and his first mate too Will do their very best To keep the others comgortable In their tropic island nest So join us here each week my friend You're sure to get a smile With seven stranded castaways Here on gilligan's isle!
