I was recently informed of a bizarre pastime that was practiced by some friends(?) in their younger days. Find a frog. Hold said frog upside down with forefinger on nose and thumb on bum. Launch frog from hand horizontally and at great velocity while at the same time imparting large amounts of rotational acceleration. For this to work properly, direction of launch should be over a body of water such as a lake or pond. Observe said frog skip across the water just like a stone would. Now, frogs have not been well known for their intelligence, so the frog will proceed to swim back toward shore. When it arrives, grab it and repeat the above procedure. Has anyone else out there tried this unusual form of pitching practice ? I've never done it before but I can't wait to try it. Off to find a frog... Cheers, Scott Pace, Philips Info. Sys.
