Agreed!! Why, chilluns, I remember when Mountain View was Sleaze City, nuttin'
but apartments!

Actually, I think the writer got Mountain View confused with Anderson's
house in Los Altos. He bought a nice little house in a nice little
neighbourhood on {Frances on the north end/Francis on the south} Street,
and built a two-story monstrosity there, a couple years after Los Altos
went from nice to nouveau riche.

Now for bizarreness: That street, one block long, has always been Frances on
the north end, and Francis on the south. It was that way when it was put in
50 years ago (according to my great-aunt), and has remained that way for
several changes of street signs (at least until 3 years ago when my mother 
sold the place. (Now that it's yuppieville it probably won't last -sigh-).

Anybody know of any other bisexual street names??
