Recently while I was out driving my new gas powered tractor to Tibet I noticed something--there are only slow bumps. What do I mean you say?? Well, if you ever see a sign on a highway near a bump--it always says "slow bump"--the sign never says "fast bump". Is this just a problem in the Philadelphia area?? Is the climate too cold for fast bumps?? Maybe if any of you have ever seen a fast bump you could help me out. I know they're out there somewhere and well, I'd love to meet one. Please send me any info or photos you have of fast bumps. Maybe fast bumps are the ones that turn doors into jars (you know--the door is a jar--how does it do that???) -- Another wunnerful letter from the semi-intelligent rotting brain of: Paul Kirsch St. Joseph's University Philadelphia, Pa { astrovax | allegra | bpa | burdvax } !sjuvax!kirsch I'm outside right now...do you know where your children are ? Fast bumps do exist. However, you will never be able to see one because they travel at the speed of light! Sorry to disappoint you. -Homeboy#1

However, since I don't use amphetamines, I've never gone over one myself. -- Shane McDonald (ihnp4!sask!mcdonald)

These little devils seem to be found all over the world. For example, in Jamaica, where they are known as "Sleeping Policemen". Scott Anderson ihnp4!oddjob!kaos!sra Well, what do you know. I've managed to follow-up to a bizarre (weird) posting with a bizarre (strange but true) posting. How bizarre!
