[can.politics] Car Import Quotas

Considering that:

i)  the auto industry executives could afford to give themselves
    mega bonuses last year, and
ii) the Canadian arm of the UAW wants to "restore and more in
    84" and GM has gone out in strike to achieve this objective

The only reasonable conclusion I can come to is that both 
management and labour believe that the Canadian auto industry
is once again in tip-top shape.

So, can anyone tell me when we can expect to see those pesky
foreign import quotas removed?
