There was a discussion of a recently published book on PBS's "ALL Things Considered" a few days ago. The book debunked many common myths, such as the existence of alligators in the New York sewers, and Mussolini's ability to make the trains run on time. Unfortunately, I missed both the title and author of the book, frustrating my attempts to locate it in book stores. If anyone knows the title or author, please inform me by mail. Send mail if you want information about book, too. I will either respond by mail, or, if there appears to be wide interest, I'll post my findings to this net group. John P. Linderman eagle!jpl
