[net.books] Book for discussion

	I would like to enter a topic for discussion:
	
	"Silverlock", by John Myers Myers.

	I am curious about others' reactions to this book,
which I greatly enjoyed.  I have talked to a few other people
who have read the book.  From what I can tell, these people
also enjoyed the book.

	I have recently found several other books by JMM, and
I can't say as I like them as much, although I haven't finished
the second of the two books.

	So:
	   1)  Do any other net readers have comments about Silverlock?
	   2)  Does anyone know who/what John Myers Myers is?
		a)  What other material has he/she written?
		b)  Why is there a long discontinuity between
		Silverlock (1949, according to my copy) and the
		rest of his books, which are dated in the 1980's?
	   3)  Are there any comments on the particular style of the
		book?
