[net.books] meta-flames on books more annoying than loose categorization

What is the purpose of this seemingly interminable debate on the proper
group for SF book reviews? Someone might have to hit the `n' key a few
times? What right do you have to clutter up our groups with stupid flames
about trivial topics? The groups are for discussion of their subject
matter, not discussion of discussion of their subject matter. Whether
or not SF belongs in net.books, your dumb metadiscussions do not! Take
them somewhere else!

PS. I believe in metadiscussion only when it is intended to prevent
    further metadiscussion.

Don't discuss discussions. Discuss books.

Of course, you you might say that I am discussing a discussion of a
discussion of a discussion. So lets stop it!!!!!!
