A few years ago, I heard an except from a book read over my local PBS radio station. The story sounded interesting, but I wasn't able to catch the title and I didn't have time to follow up on it then. In the hope that maybe somebody out there in NetLand might have come across it, I'll try to describe what I remember of the excerpt. It was set in the arctic (Greenland?) during wartime (WW I?). The plot was your basic Good Guys (US? Britain?) vs. Bad Guys (Germany). What made it particularly interesting, apart from the setting, was the interaction between the Good Guys and the native Esquimaux. I seem to recall the Good Guys being under a lot of pressure to deal with intercultural differences OR ELSE to get help in commando operations against the Bad Guys. If anybody has come across this book, please let me know (by mail). Thanks in advance. - Bob Lewis ...tektronix!tekgds!bobl
