With help from netland, I found the book "Ice Brothers" by Sloan Wilson (who also wrote "The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit"). "Ice Brothers" is the (fictional) story of the trawler Arluk, which is part of the US Coast Guard's Greenland Patrol during WWII. This is *not* your basic war story. The characters and character development are very well done. The situations are realistic and the setting is spectacular. I recommend this book highly. It's the sort that would make a good movie if Hollywood knew how to make good movies from books. - Bob Lewis tekgds!bobl
