How about Ann(Ayn?) Rand's Fountainhead? Talk about a book to get excited about! It has everything -- torrid love affairs, love-hate relationships, and a main character that will blow you away! ('xcuse the pun for those who know the story) God, I love having this net. To find a good book I either ask my husbands mom(>1000 mi away) or just cruise through the titles in the library. Keep those recommendations coming!!!

Someone recently had the temerity to drag Ayn Rand's name out of the mud and propose this as suitable reading material. WARNING - unless you are turned on by hundreds of pages of the most annoying, turgid sort of ultra-right-wing politico-philisophical preaching, ----------> STAY AWAY <------------. And if you want to discuss Rand, please do it in net.politics as THIS IS NOT LITERATURE!!! Even better, please don't. ....decvax!microsoft!ubc-vision!mprvaxa!tbray

#R:mprvaxa:-27300:ctvax:50700001:000:315 ctvax!john Sep 7 21:15:00 1983 Some of Ms. Rand's works definitely qualify as literature. Your flamage belongs on NET.FLAME, not in NET.BOOKS. If you have any rational complaints about specific books, I am sure the audience would enjoy reading them. If you care to launch an irrational tirade, I suggest you do it elsewhere. =John Shelton=
