[net.books] First Amendment books

Was that CIA expose' by any chance "In Search of Enemies" by John
Stockwell? Stockwell is from Austin and I recently got the chance
to hear him speak. Funny that you should mention him in connection
with first-amendment freedoms -- he happens to still be under a
court order requiring that anything he writes be submitted to a
judge for censorship. It makes him kind of cynical about claims
that all sorts of sleazy tactics are justifiable in order to defend
our "free" society against the commies.
