[net.books] The Naked Computer

(Rot 13 not needed!)

Why haven't I thought of sharing this before?!! I spent a
miserable two weeks in the hospital in March, and two more
at home recovering from an attack of a very nasty disease.

One of my former associates sent me, Special Delivery, the
"Naked Computer," by Jack Rochester and John Gantz, pub by
William Morrow, & Co, 1983.

This is the most entertaining work about computers! History,
hardware, fraud, funny stories...they're all here. Those
few facts which I already knew confirmed the credibility of
the authors and their sources. It's not technical; indeed,
the authors are of the new breed of "high tech journalists"
and observers, so their book will have broad appeal.

It's at least as good as anything on the newsgroups!
