Are any of you C.S. Lewis fans? I have read much of his fiction (Chronicles, Space Trilogy, and Regress) and would enjoy corresponding with anyone who shares my interest. I find C.S. Lewis' style difficult but intriguing. I would love to here any other impressions of his works. Please respond to drufl!rjs and post if you like.

Yes, saying Lewis equated technology with satanism was too brief. In his trilogy, the forces of evil were technocrats, and the forces of good were 'in tune with Nature'. He also debated the merits of Space Exploration with Arthur C. Clarke. I recall reading Lewis saying something about how Space Exploration would lead to a sterile, mechanical society in which Man would lose his humanity. Perhaps someone knows where that quote is from and can find the exact words. At any rate, Lewis viewed technology with somewhat less than boundless optimism. At any rate, (recalling that this is net.BOOKS), I recommend Lewis' Science Fiction trilogy even if you find his view of Science opposed to your own. I thought these books were magical and read them several times.
