(1) From what I've heard, CAT'S EYE is an original screenplay, not based on any
existing story. Supposedly, King liked the job that Lewis Teague did with CUJO,
and so wrote CAT'S EYE for him to direct. I have not heard anything about
SILVER BULLET, so I can't really tell you anything about it. I *do* know, how-
ever, that King has no such story by that name. The closest that comes to mind
is "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet" that appeared in the June 1984 issue of
FANTASY & SCIENCE FICTION. It's possible that it comes from CYCLE OF THE WERE-
WOLF or the Dark Tower Cycle, but I doubt it.

(2) As far as finding those limited edition books.... Well, you're out of luck
with regards to CYCLE OF THE WEREWOLF --- it's completely out-of-print, and is
unlikely that it'll ever be reprinted. It can probably be found through genre
book dealers, though it'll cost a pretty penny. It's really only a novelette
with lots of illustrations, and it's not among King's best work, so don't worry
too much unless you're a King collector. THE DARK TOWER: THE GUNSLINGER is a
different story. The first edition is out-of-print, but the publisher has done
a second edition that might still be in print. You can write to the publisher
and ask --- the address is:

Don Grant, Publisher	West Kingston, RI 02892

I don't off-hand recall the price, but I *think* it's $20.00.

Another limited edition King novel is being published even as I speak. It's
called THE EYES OF THE DRAGON, and it's from Philtrum Press of Bangor, Maine.
It's a fantasy novel that features Randall Flagg, the villain from THE STAND,
and it looks like it may be tied into the Dark Tower Cycle as well. Unfortun-
ately, the 1000-copy edition is sold out already (at $120 a pop, too!), but
it should appear in a trade edition in about 3 years. And, yes, I'm getting a
copy...

You might also be interested to note that there will be a new critical work
on Stephen King published in the next month or so, STEPHEN KING: THE ART OF
DARKNESS, by Douglas Winter. Therein should appear an extensive bibliography
of King's works. It should be quite a piece of work (I should know, I helped
out on it).
