          ANNOUNCING THE INAUGURAL NET.BOOKS.SIDNEY.SHELDON CONTEST
FOR THE WORST PARAGRAPH WRITTEN BY A USENETTER!

  =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Mail or post your worst paragraph and *WIN* absolutely nothing, especially
no *CASH PRIZES*. Entries will be judged in a completely biased manner by
a extinguished panel of literary critic - moi. Only original, unpublished
entries will be accepted (I've read everything, so don't try to slip any-
thing by me :-)). Spelling and grammatical errors will be flambeed (:-))
Winning and losing entries will be posted for the opprobrium of the net.

Any resemblance to the Bulwer-Lytton worst paragraph competition is purely
  coincidental.

BTW, *worst* doesn't mean longest - keep 'em short, but not necessarily to
  the point (:-))

Oh...English would be best, but I'll accept French at the ou-est-la-plume-
de-ma-tante level, or German if you don't use words like trockenbeerenaus-
  lese.
