A reall good book that has no super-spies, but just ordinary people in what seems to be extra-ordinary surroundings, is THE FIFTH HORSEMAN by two people I can't remember their names. (One's last name is Collins). Set mostly in New York City, it is the story of a nuclear bomb hidden somewhere in the city which will be set off by a group of terrorists a few days before Christmas. The best parts of the story are the ones that are about how to evacuate 6 - 8 million people in a short time realistically. It is a very good story, especially this time of year. Star-Lord They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Naturally they became heroes.
