I have been sent mail from four or five of you out there in net.books
land concerning my impatience with an innocent question about the
"Wizard of Oz" (book).
To all of you collectively, and anybody else who may be pissed at me,
I hereby apologize and will attempt to be more genteel in the future,
as seems to be the decorum of the net.
No hard feelings, I hope --- hope to engage with you soon in some
erudite discussion about good reading.
