Hello again, I couldn't resist jumping into this argument again. Its a lot of fun and I think we can probably keep it going for a good long time. (its already run for several millenium so it don't think it will stop soon.) I see (or rather have seen ) some interesting attacks on the Jewish faith. ( nope don't qualify for that one ) The jist of the attacks seems to be that The Jewish religion(Judaism (sp)?) is primitive or incomplete because they don't(so I hear) accept all that extra stuff that was add to the original bible. This seems to be heading in the general direction that more and or newer is better. If so wouldn't that make Islam even better It is newer and it is based (so I hear(and possibly loosely)) on the Jedeao/Christian beliefs. Of course taking this a step farther would probably make one of the newer cult religions the best. After all some of them still have their profits alive. Its a grand opportunity to get in on the ground floor. You could become a saint or something. I realize that the above is rather tongue in cheek. My point is (I think I have a point here somewhere) that Christian folks should be careful about picking on the way Jewish folks interpret their bible. (old testament for you holy rollers) After all they have a version which is closer to the original. Once again I put forth my contention that none of the bibles have the true words of a god. Probably none of them even have the true words of their profits. Accept of course these Johny come latelys who have a dictaphone and a xerox machine. All previous works were copied by humans and subject to interpretation by them. Not to say that you can't continue to use these sources. I love it when you folks take your literature for absolute and quote different versions at each other. Of course it might be simpler if you would mail each other a copy of your version. Then you can just refer to paragraphs and page numbers. I do of course apologize to anyone whose religion I might have misspelled here. If you'll mail me the correct spelling I'll try to use it next time. Does anyone know what a secular humanist is? I've heard all sorts of terrible things about them and am worried that I just might be one. Mail me your favorite definition. God, I love senseless arguments, Taylor The Rabble Rouser I H BTL
