                                  In Defense of Paul

          I believe I understand what Lew is trying to say, but I am quite
          sure that he unfortunately does not understand what Paul was
          saying.  We must be very careful about putting words into others'
          mouths, especially those who are no longer here and able to defend
          themselves.
