Most christians don't seem to have a lot of difficulties with 'contradictions'.
Why ?
I think its because they perceive the purpose of the scriptures to reveal
( no editor<< "is to reveal" ) God.
How many people are there who refuse to become christians because of
'contradictions'.... C'mon now, be honest...
I would think there are much more basic 'where you live' reasons..
