Again, this is another example of how people quicken themselves to something they do not understand and call their own deceptions contradictions. Book of Matthew gives the genealogy of Joseph and this is what Jeremiah prophesied about Jeconiah (also called Jehoiachin): Jeremiah 22:30 This is what the LORD says: "Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for non of his offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore in Judah." This is additional proof that Jesus was not born of Joseph but of the seed of a woman as prophesied in Genesis. It is Jewish tradition to trace genealogy on the male side but Luke 3 gives the genealogy of Mary which also goes back to King David fulfilling all scriptures. Then why are there only 13? Unbelievers ALWAYS leave God out. It is 12 generations to Joseph, God the Spirit conceived Mary, and Jesus is the 14th. God AM neat! P.S.
