[net.religion] Reply to test of truth

Putting God to test is a totally pagan concept and violates all Christian
principles. The Bible is the written word of God and unless God has made
his words living to a person, God is under no obligation to do anything.
So such tests do not apply to Christians.

It is a shame that people think that they can manipulate God. Jesus, when
tempted quoted the scripture from Deuteronomy 6:16 "Do not put the Lord your
God to the test."

Since Michael D. Cranford is so eager to get rid of his pocket money, God
has provided this one test for Michael.
	Malachi 3:8-10
"Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How
do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings. You are under
a curse - the whole nation of you - because you are robbing
me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there
may be food in my house. TEST me in this," says the LORD
Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates
of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will
not have room enough for for it."

Michael, may the Lord God bless you in this test.
P.S.
The rest of Michael's so called contradictions make as much sense as his test.
