Steve (dadla!hutch) is more or less right in what he said about me. I do not (deliberately) avoid people who are using dope or drinking. I feel it's my job to convince people that they should have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If I must go into a bar, or to a dope party to do it, then I will. That does not mean that I don't try to avoid these kind of places, since I have to set my own standards for myself. I don't want to be exposed to dope fumes, or cigarette smoke (they make me physically sick now), and while I'm not a "tea-totaller", I know my limit (1 beer maybe every 2 weeks, average). So, I, like every other "true" Christian, have to let God's Spirit work in my life to guide me when to and when not to bend my standards to conform to God's plan concerning witnessing to others. When I have the choice, however, I avoid these types of places, and when faced with one, I get up and leave. Roger S.
