Reflecting on a comment by KoG ... In your message describing your "fall from Christianity", you make the comment: I lost a lot of *close* friendships; the people are still my friends, but there just isn't the same common ground. Interesting. Isn't there more to close relationships than just the "same common ground"? True love and closeness among living beings surely transcends religious boundaries! Christian love does appear to be conditional at times: "We love you, God loves you, but you're not Christian, so ...". To me, this is the sickest form of rejection, and it's often subtle. As I read thru this newsgroup, I sense this is happening between some of us. Fortunately, we all really know we love each other as the spiritual beings we are.
