Wait a minute! I thought Oral Roberts only televised on Sunday!

Seriously, this is the kind of muddled, half philosophical thought that makes
people shout "Hallelujah" without turning on their minds. Just what led
you to decide that "Precious stones and gold" signify the "people that have
manifested God"? Just exactly which precious stones? Does turquoise qualify
or does it signify people who have partially manifested God?
Precisely what is the logic that leads from "I am the true vine" to the fact
that Jesus is the "tree of life"? He didn't say what kind of vine or anything
about life.

This is one of the things that turned me away from religion at an EXTREMELY
young age. People so often preach lots of fancy phrases in trembling tones
which send shivers down everybody's backs but in no way try to substantiate
their claims or even think about how they came up with such claims. If you
believe all of this, then tell me why it's so believable. If you just enjoy
thinking such stuff without worrying about whether it has any shred of truth
then why do you think I'll believe it?

Wondering if I'm signified by volcanic ash,
