In this case though, the verses quoted from the N.T. seem to state pretty explicitly that it just wasn't right to avoid certain types of food, irregardless of whether Christ came or not. Nothing is mentioned about the fact that Christ's coming is what specifically changed all the rules. Is this a contradiction or not?
