It's cultural. When I went to a religious high school (Jewish -- yes they do exist), nobody used the term. Then I went to college at a big university, where I heard many people using "Jesus Christ" as an explitive, and while I tried not to use it myself, I found it creeping into my vocabulary. Jews in Israel don't use "J C" as an expletive, but then no-one in Israel uses "J C" as an expletive. They have other speech patterns. If you were to move to Canada (especially western Canada), you would probably find yourself using the term "eh" a lot. People tend to pick up speech habits depending on their (the person's) location. "Jesus Christ!" is a popular explitive in the U.S., and since most Jews in the U.S. are well mixed into the predominantly Christian American lifestyle, they use the predominant speech patterns. (You won't find the Chassidic Jews of Williamsburg NY using "J C!", or other very Orthodox Jews, for that matter) Ariel Shattan decvax!tektronix!tekecs!ariels
