Re: Brian Nixon's news article... Good to see reasoned argument on the net. Did you ever hear the one about "argument by appeal to authority"? If you have a point to make for God, maybe it could be made with reference to the rules of logic. Also, for Buddhists, Shinto, (I think) Hindus, and American Indians (at least come of them) homosexuality was NOT a sin. Too bad God didn't get around to telling THEM. Finally. there is no need to remove the vowel from the word Lord; the word is a translation of the conventional tern used to replace the YHWH. the replacement IS allowed to be translated. Really, the mystical and Biblical significance of the Ineffable Name og God is far too great to cheapen it by mistaken changes in English use. Warmly, Charlie Martin ...!duke!crm
