This may be a futile exercise (someone has already mentioned preaching to the already converted), but here goes: In all the talk of evolution versus creationism, I have not noticed anyone quoting or putting forth themselves any facts that back the theory of creation. All creationists I have ever heard spend their time "disproving" evolution, as though there were only two possibilities for the origin of life, so if evolution is "wrong", creationism is right. Obviously, this is untrue. Even if all the evidence for evolution is shown tomorrow to be fake, that would not mean creationism is true. So, where is the evidence that itself points to creationism as the correct theory for the origin of life? No scientific theory can exist solely on doubts about a competing theory. Are there any creationists out there who have facts to support their theory? Maybe a better question is - can anyone (evolutionists, we-came-from-outer-space-ionists, etc.) tell me what kind of evidence would be needed to support creationism? Offhand, I cannot even imagine how one would go about scientifically supporting creationism - again remembering that disproving evolution does no more than eliminate one of MANY theories on the origin of life. It's true that only the two theories get publicity, but that doesn't mean there aren't others as equally valid to some people. Franklin Fite BTL Holmdel, 201-949-1240 ihnp4!houxa!fdf
