If people take evolution as an insult, well so be it. It has nothing whatsoever to do with whether evolution is valid or not. I don't feel terribly insulted, but if I did, that would be no reason to discount evolution. This is a major problem with creationists. They don't LIKE a theory so they set out to find out why it MUST be wrong! As far as man being more significant than animals, well I might agree. After all, man is the ONLY creature who: 1. Has wars. 2. Causes pollution. 3. Has perverse thoughts. 4. Tortures fellow human beings. 5. Could cause the end of all life on earth. Yes, I think man is significant, but it's not something to be too proud about. Darrell Plank BTL-IH
