I am very greatful to Walt Pesch for undertaking the survey on religion and education. I completely agree that one persons circle of acquaintances do not form a statisticaly valid sample. When I originaly posted the question I explicitly said that my observation applied to my acquaintances only. This is the reason I was dismayed at being flamed at by people assuming I was making a general statement. I have sent Walt Pesch mail with my answers and will not further post on this topic.
