[net.religion] What does God have to say RE: HOMOSEXUALITY

(((for the line eater)))

Being new to USENET, I may have missed some opening
remarks concerning a Christian view of homosexuality,
natural vs. unnatural acts, etc. So I hope that this isn't
redundant. But I would like to offer some of God's Word,
the BIBLE, for your consideration that deals with
the subject. For no matter how much man discourses on a
subject, "let God be found true, though every man
be found a liar," (Romans 3:4, New American Standard Bible).
--------
Romans 1:21-27, NASB:

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him
as God, or give thanks: but they became futile in their specu-
lations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to
be wise they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the
incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man
and of birds and fourfooted animals and crawling creatures.

Therefore, God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts
to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them.
For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped
and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed
forever. Amen.

For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for
their women exchanged the natural function for that which is
unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the
natural function of the woman and burned in their desire
toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and
receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

-----

Offered for your consideration without comment.

Um, if I remember my New Testament correctly those words are Paul's, not
G-d's. While there may be no question in your mind as to Paul's infal-
libility, there are large questions in mine.
