No, such a person would be a gullible idiot!

I would define an open-minded person as one who will not reject verifiable
evidence simply because such evidence runs counter to his presuppositions,
but rather will try to verify such evidence independently, and if necessary
change his beliefs to incorporate new facts and knowledge so acquired.  In
other words, a person who treats his presuppositions with a healthy dose of
skepticism.
