I didn't see the articles in Time, so I can't comment on them directly. However, I know that Maharishi (I started to write Mararishi, which is and interesting slip) was supposed to have been educated as a physicist, so I suspect the slips are not his. However, nothing says a blissed-out writer of add copy has to interpret what he says correctly. As far as the 7000 person meditation: directly after the session, the market DID go up, there WAS substancial progress in the Middle East, the Russians admitted that there might have been some error in shooting down the KAL flight, and we found the house we had always been looking for. To acsribe causal connection is a *post hoc* fallacy. You tell me.
