I have been following net.religion for a few weeks and this is my first submission. Since the topics of miracles and supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit do not seem to have been discussed during the time that I have been observing, I would like to solicit some comments. I am aware of the Charismatic renewal movement in the Episcopal and Roman Catholic Churches and would like to know about it in other churches. I am particularly interested in the Methodist Church for two reason: I was baptised in the Methodist Church, and Charles Parham, who at the turn of the century was one of the first to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit through prayer, was a Methodist minister. I currently attend St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Seattle, WA. I would be interested in sharing with other Charismatic Christians what affect they have seen in their life since receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord.
