I don't know which of Lewis's books this proof might have appeared in, I haven't read them all yet, it is certainly not an unreasonable conclusion for him to reach. I will check on "Surprised by Joy" and "Mere Christianity", the two most likely, and see what I can find. One of the things I like about the Episcopal Church is that, as part of the Anglican Communion, we get to claim Lewis as our very own "pop" theologian.
